​Design and Technology subjects are suitable for students interested in design and engineering. It is aimed at students looking for careers in manufacturing, engineering, product design, pattern making, design and drafting, civil/commercial construction and any other design and development pathways. During the study of this course students will learn how to apply a design process to the development and creation of their ideas for their own products. They will then be given the opportunity to develop their hand skills with workshop tools to build these products. Development of these skills will enable students to move easily into senior VET subjects.
