 Academic success in 2016

St Patrick’s College was once again the highest achieving school in the Brisbane Archdiocese in the Queensland Core Skills test results. 20% of the students achieved an A and 36% achieved a B.

Prue gained the only OP1 in the Gympie region.  We also had five students achieve an OP2, with 25% of our 55 OP-eligible students achieving an OP between 1 and 5.

Congratulations to OP1 achiever, Prue; OP2 achievers Lily, Rhea, Jesse G, Tia and Anna M; OP 3 achievers Georgia, Sohail, Ella and Billie; OP 4 achievers Liam C and Brooke; and OP 5 achievers Anna C and Isabelle.

All our students who applied for a place in Semester 1 2017 at a tertiary institution received an offer, with many of these offers being their first choice.

Our 74 Year 12 students also achieved many vocational education certificates: 1 Certificate IV (Belarna); 5 Certificate IIIs (Baleigh, Tia, Louise, Zara and Tamsin); 99 Certificate IIs; and 18 Certificate Is.  Joe, Jordan, Lachlan and Bryan are continuing the apprenticeships that they started as School-based Apprenticeships last year.
