St Patrick's College was the
highest-achieving campus in the Brisbane Catholic
Education system for School-based Apprenticeship
and Traineeship activity in 2019. A traineeship or apprenticeship was completed
by 28% of the graduating seniors as part of their senior studies, with them
also working for an employer and being paid. As well as this, over half the 2019
graduates completed a Certificate II or higher. These qualifications
contributed to the students' Queensland Certificates of Education (QCE).
St Patrick's
College supports students making informed decisions about their learning,
training and future pathways.
The College explores all avenues to support its students acquire
'real skills for a real career'. The skills that the students develop in
these courses ensure that they leave the College with the capabilities required
for their future occupations.
Gympie employers actively seek to employ St Patrick's College
students while they are still at school. The employers are guaranteed support
from the College to ensure that both the student and the employer have a
successful experience, establishing ongoing working relationships to benefit
all parties.
St Patrick's College would like to thank the community for its
