Real skills for a real career

St Patrick's College was the highest-achieving campus in the Brisbane Catholic

Education system for School-based Apprenticeship and Traineeship activity in 2019. A traineeship or apprenticeship was completed by 28% of the graduating seniors as part of their senior studies, with them also working for an employer and being paid. As well as this, over half the 2019 graduates completed a Certificate II or higher. These qualifications contributed to the students' Queensland Certificates of Education (QCE).

St Patrick's College supports students making informed decisions about their learning, training and future pathways.

The College explores all avenues to support its students acquire 'real skills for a real career'.  The skills that the students develop in these courses ensure that they leave the College with the capabilities required for their future occupations.

Gympie employers actively seek to employ St Patrick's College students while they are still at school. The employers are guaranteed support from the College to ensure that both the student and the employer have a successful experience, establishing ongoing working relationships to benefit all parties.

St Patrick's College would like to thank the community for its contribution to its vocation pathway, further strengthening the collaboration between the College and its community.
