I am very pleased to welcome all families to the 2025 school year at St Patrick's College, Gympie.

The college has a reputation for successfully preparing our graduates to be positive contributors to society by setting high standards in all aspects of the life of the College. We offer a comprehensive curriculum and in addition to our core subjects, students will experience a wide range of elective options before choosing their Academic and Vocational specialisations for their senior years.

We provide a comprehensive Pastoral Care program as we understand that student wellbeing is imperative for all students to achieve to their potential. We are committed to being authentic in preparing our students for the challenges presented by the modern society, while retaining the unique traditions and practices that are our foundation and give us our family friendly atmosphere.

Our History and Mission

St Patrick’s College has a rich heritage rooted in faith and service. Since the arrival of the Sisters of Mercy in Gympie in 1879, and later the Christian Brothers in 1904, the College has been a welcoming home for generations of students and families. The charisms of Catherine McAuley and Edmund Rice continue to inspire our commitment to the spiritual, pastoral, academic, and physical development of each student.
