EXTERNAL TRAINING
TAFE AT SCHOOLS
REGIONAL TRAINING
East Coast Institute of TAFE and Regional Training offer high school
students in Year 10, 11 and 12 the opportunity to attend accredited training on
a part time basis, generally one day per week, to undertake a Certificate I,
II, III level qualification.
WORKPLACE LEARNING
Students are encouraged to participate in Work Experience or Structured
Work Placement to
assist in their transition from school to work.
SCHOOL
BASED TRAINEESHIPS/APPRENTICESHIPS
School-based
apprenticeships and traineeships (SATs) provide an opportunity for students
generally in Years 10, 11 and 12 to undertake employment-based training while
continuing full-time enrolment in a school program.
