Accelerated Reader

Accelerated Reader (AR) is our Year 7 and 8 reading program, where students visit the library for a reading lesson once a week. When it comes to motivating students to read, choice is the key, and our dedicated staff guide students towards books on genres they love to read. The Accelerated Reading program gauges and tracks student comprehension and provides feedback data to assist in increasing student literacy ability. The comfortable environment allows students to relax and encourages them to lose themselves in literature and the joy of reading for pleasure.

LearnPath allows library staff to support teachers and students by providing curated subject guides and resources specifically structured to the learning curriculum. LearnPath is navigated by year level and subject, and has embedded digital, interactive and other content linked to assignment tasks and curriculum, all accessed through ‘Oliver’ and available to the school community 24/7
