Accelerated Reader

Accelerated Reader (AR) is our Year 7 and 8 reading program, where students visit the library for a reading lesson once a week. When it comes to motivating students to read, choice is the key, and our dedicated staff guide students towards books on genres they love to read. The Accelerated Reading program gauges and tracks student comprehension and provides feedback data to assist in increasing student literacy ability. The comfortable environment allows students to relax and encourages them to lose themselves in literature and the joy of reading for pleasure.
