Strategic Plan

NAPLAN RESULTS

 Students in Years 7 and 9 sit for the National Assessment Program - Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) tests managed by Australian Curriculum Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA).

The NAPLAN tests are designed to assess the skills of Australian students in literacy and numeracy. The specific purposes are:

Results from the tests provide important information about children's progress in literacy and numeracy. Following the tests, schools and students receive a statement of performance in relation to the national minimum standards.


 
 NEXT STEP - YEAR 12 DESTINATIONS

The Next Step survey is undertaken by the Queensland government and targets all students who completed Year 12. The pathways are categorised into ten main destinations. Year 12 completers who were both studying and working are reported as studying for their main destination.
