Year 7 & 8 Curriculum

At St Patrick's College, Year 7 and Year 8 students enjoy a rich and engaging learning experience designed to develop both depth and breadth of knowledge. We are committed to supporting every student's academic, personal, social, and spiritual growth through a diverse and well-rounded curriculum that fosters curiosity, creativity, confidence, and a love of learning.

Students study a range of core subjects throughout the year, including:

  • Health and Physical Education

In addition to their core studies, students participate in a variety of elective subjects on a rotational basis, providing opportunities to explore interests and develop practical and creative skills across The Arts and Technologies learning areas.

Through these experiences, students are encouraged to discover new passions, broaden their understanding of the world, and build the skills needed for future success.

The subjects follow the Australian Curriculum, available at the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority website, ACARA. We are currently transitioning from version 8.4 to version 9 of the Australian Curriculum.
