​​​​Chess Club is run on site A near the canteen at the start of first break each Wednesday.  

Students that would like to play chess, learn how to play, or improve their skills are welcome to bring their lunch and have some fun. 

​Players of all levels, abilities and skills are welcome.

​Chess club players have the opportunity to compete in Inter School Chess tournaments and obtain a recognised Queensland wide rating after approximately 3 tournaments. Players that do well in the tournaments may have the opportunity to compete in the Queensland Chess Championships in Brisbane in Term 4.
